The form of this bowl is created by the intersection of two cones pointed at each other. On the inside you can see the point of the smaller cone in the bottom. The surface is glazed with Cast Iron Grey over KPFA. The interaction of the glazes in the kiln produce a subtle stipled texture.

Occasionaly wipe with a damp cloth. If necessary use a mild, non-acidic, non-abrasive dish detergent. This piece may scratch wood or other soft surfaces when placed.

Design Series began in 2013 as a creative pursuit. With clay as his medium, Tung Chiang explores a singular subject each year that culminates in a show and sale of his work. Throughout its eight years, several of his ideas have informed Heath's everyday product lines, from new shapes to dynamic glazes.
