The Neck Vase features a precise transition partway down the profile creating not only a distinctive form but an opportunity to showcase our love of glaze and its many beautiful and unexpected combinations. Here it is glazed in the Watercolor technique—a new and dramatic glaze combination exclusive to Heath Clay Studio pieces. Glazes are applied and manipulated by hand to create a surface that resembles inky landscape paintings. Layered in every sense, each vessel’s glaze pattern is unique. Each vase is thrown and glazed by the skilled hands of the Heath Clay Studio team in San Francisco, CA. Expect minor variations in size and shape from piece to piece.
