Katakuchi Syuki Sake Set

This sake set is made from carved bamboo that takes advantage of the joints that occur along the length of a bamboo cane. Each piece is carved to accentuate the natural beautiful variations from one piece of bamboo to another. The surface is finished with varnish making it moisture resistant and practical to use for almost any kind of beverage.

Due to the hand-made nature of this piece, each will vary slightly in size, texture, and color from the one photographed.

Wash in warm water with a soft sponge and neutral detergent. Avoid using hot water, which will cause warping. After washing, wipe off moisture with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated place. Do not use hard brushes, scrubbing brushes, or detergents containing abrasives. Do not soak or submerge for long periods of time. This piece is neither dishwasher nor microwave safe. Extended exposure to direct sunlight will cause cracking and/or warping. Not recommended for hot beverages.
