San Francisco, CA
Since 2012: The creative heart of Heath, in the urban core of San Francisco’s Mission district. Our newest space embodies the true collaborative spirit of designing and making in our community. Under a 60,000 square foot roof, with our tile factory in the center of it, Heath SF brings together like-minded people and businesses, for beauty, inspiration, making, and gathering. Inside is the Heath Newsstand, Clay Studio, Tartine Manufactory, and a Collective of designer studios. Magic happens here.

The Creative Heart, Since 2012
Heath SF Showroom
A former linen supply and laundry with good bones and great natural light is today a warm, inviting showroom space where you'll find everything Heath. A chef's kitchen area features our cookbooks and food favorites, and a gallery space is home to various shows and events throughout the year.
The Newsstand
Our very own newsstand opened in 2017, offering a full range of periodicals and magazines, snacks, cold drinks, and stationery — with more to come. Stop by and tell us what you’d like to see at your neighborhood newsstand.
Heath Clay Studio
The Heath Clay Studio is a place of experimentation, exploration, and inspiration. It’s where we evolve our shapes, glazes, design, and making processes. It’s where we play, learn, and share.
Heath Clay Studio in the Boiler Room is now open to the public, with a gallery and shop where our handcrafted ceramics go straight from kiln to collector.
The Heath Clay Studio collection is always available online.
Heath Collective
Inspired design doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes the camaraderie and collaboration of a group of like-minded people. The Heath Collective amplifies the inspiration and creative spirit in our Mission location by hosting studio space for some of our biggest inspirations: jewelers Julia Turner and Liz Oppenheim; fiber artist Windy Chien, print-master Aesthetic Union, and baker extraordinaire Tartine Manufactory. Mastery of craft is at the heart of our tile factory, and thanks to the Collective’s work, also tucked deep into every corner of the building.
Tartine Manufactory
The newest (and most delicious) addition to Heath SF is the Tartine Manufactory, a creative culinary research, production, and gathering space, from Tartine Bakery co-owners and founders Elisabeth Prueitt and Chad Robertson. In this luminous space designed by Commune Design, you’ll also find our Heath Tile and Tartine Collection dinnerware.
Factory Tours
The tile factory is the heart of our San Francisco showroom and campus. You can catch glimpses of the workings from various points in the building, but you shouldn’t miss the full factory tour in person.
Tour sizes are limited, so advance RSVP is required. Check out our Factory Tours page for more details.
