Heath LA Studio & Store
We’ve forged a partnership with potter Adam Silverman (ATWATER POTTERY) to launch a new retail studio in Los Angeles this December. Our new Los Angeles outpost is located at 7525 Beverly Boulevard (at Sierra Bonita Avenue) in the central Los Angeles design district. The new LA facility is our second retail store after our original factory store opened in 1948 in Sausalito. Along with a retail store, we will also offer a gallery and studio that will focus on ceramic research and small run, custom work. More information to follow. Stay tuned...
We're looking for great sales associates and a store manager for our LA location - if you're interested, please email your resume and cover letter our HR Manager, Lisa Bookstein. We look forward to hearing from you.

Summer Workshop series
Our workshop series is back! Each summer, we have the privilege of hosting a series of 5-6 workshops, taught by some of the Bay Area’s most talented artists. This year, Dharma Strasser MacColl has put together a group of artists that focus on the art of drawing and painting on clay. These hands-on classes are an incredible opportunity to create your own work of art under the guidance of some of our favorite artists. Please contact our Factory Store at 415-332-3732 x13 to secure your spot - they fill up quickly. More information…

NO MORE PACKING PEANUTS!
We no longer use packing peanuts to ship our product. We have switched to a revolutionary product called expandOS - 100% post consumer paper and fully recyclable. No more plastic or Styrofoam. We're thrilled to have made the switch and hope we can be a model for other companies.

UPDATE ON HEATH-WAY'S MONSTER POTHOLES - JANUARY 2007
We completely understand the complaints from our customers about the condition of the roadway which is the main access to our store - we have to drive through it every day!
We might finally be seeing some resolution on the problem which we hope will soon result in a repaired roadway. After at least a decade of denials from the City of Sausalito regarding their responsibility for the road's condition, including the City Manager's 2006 very false statement published in the SF Chronicle that it is a private roadway belonging to Heath Ceramics, the city is finding it harder to ignore the problem once we handed them a copy of their deed of trust to the roadway which proves that they acquired it in 1965. Still shocking is that the city has made no improvements in 40 years and that its taken this long, and this much effort, for them to start to show some concern and responsibility to implement repairs. Is the role of government to "serve the public" or "frustrate the public". In this town they sure have put a lot of effort into the latter so lets keep our fingers crossed.
Maybe you can help by dropping an email or phone call to the responsible party: Sausalito Mayor, Mike Kelly - MKelly@MKEquities.com or 415.289.4166. Feel free to let him know what you think!
